      My heart keeps beating...although its pieces are falling

      Sharp stabs wrap around my torn hope, piercing it and causing it to bleed

      The broken pieces, although shattered and deformed, now stay in place

      Barbed wire around my heart, a constant reminder of what can never be...
I was inspired to write this... when the person I truly have feeling for... told me to give up hope and move on with my pathetic life.... she was right

i understand completely what your going thru...my bf has told me the same thing after 3 yrs of being together..relly hurts! we r also tryig to remain friends but its hard.
